Born and raised in Nigeria, Edwin’s musical journey began in the church, where he developed a deep passion for piano performance, singing, and musical excellence. His dedication led him to study Music at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria, where he refined his skills in performance, composition, harmony, and music theory.
Today, EGREAT JAZZ is recognized for his sophisticated blend of Afro-Jazz, Highlife, Blues, Salsa, Soul, and contemporary African influences. His performances combine technical musicianship with heartfelt storytelling, creating memorable experiences that resonate with audiences across cultures.

As an international performing artist, EGREAT JAZZ has entertained audiences from every corner of the world through extensive live performances aboard international cruise ships. Performing for multicultural audiences has strengthened his versatility, stage presence, and ability to connect with people regardless of language or nationality.
